When Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson first met in a church in Hamburg they were certain there was no going to the other side. Ashley was 17 and she'd never been with a man before. They began the romance quite slowly. Love was evident at first site. Andrew asked God to do one last thing on New Year's Day just before 2016, which was that Ashley agreed to marry Andrew. Ashley had always wanted a wooden folk themed wedding to symbolize Andrew and her. For their dream wedding, Andrew and Ashley decided to take a little inspiration from the things they cherish. Ashley was a child on the 40 acres of land chosen for the wedding venue. Ashley had a good understanding of the entire region, having explored it and even played in the area. Andrew and Ashley had also walked in this spot several times since when they first started dating. Because the wedding was almost entirely DIY, personalization was a big part. Andrew and Ashley's dad created their seating area as well as the arch used for the wedding ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley claims that if Anna, the florist at Magnolia Belle Floral hadn't created her stunning floral designs for us, our wedding could have lacked the amazing feeling that I had hoped it would. It's truly stunning.
